#BigBreaking 13 CRPF men killed, 12 others injured in Lethpora car-bomb blast : Lethpora, February 14 : Srinagar, February 14 : Thirteen CRPF personnel were killed and at least thirteen others were injured and a bus of CRPF  they were travelling in was damaged in a car bomb attack along Srinagar-Jammu highway near Letpora today. According to reports at around 3:15 pm,  militants rammed the car into the CRPF bus triggered off an intensive blast. Thirteen CRPF men were killed in the blast and thirteen others  were critically injured. All the injured troopers were shifted to Army's 92 base hospital in Badami Bagh, Srinagar Following the blast the traffic has been suspended on the highway as government forces cordon off the entire area and launched searches.

JRL withdraws 14th Feb Shutdown Call  Srinagar, Feb 13: Joint Resistance Leadership said that the protest strike call against hearing of 35 A case in Supreme Court of India on 14th February , has been withdrawn after the lawyers conveyed to the leadership that in the cause list issued by the Supreme Court at 7 pm today,it is not listed for hearing tomorrow . The Kashmir bar association led by senior lawyers Mian Qayoom, Zafar Shah, Zaffar Qureshi, Mohd Ashraf  and others are in New Delhi defending the case at the Supreme Court on behalf of the people of disputed J&K. They are in touch with the leadership. 3 Drug Peddlers arrested in Budgam : Sachnews Jammu Kashmir Budgam , February 13:  Three persons were arrested by Budgam police following an action targeting those involved in drug peddling in Budgam. Three persons arrested for the drug offences have been taken to Police Post Humhama where they remain in custody, a police spokesman told Sachnews Jammu Kashmir. This is a part of proactive action initiated by Budgam police against the drug peddlers of Central Kashmir. Officers have seized huge quantity of fukki and Spasmoproxyvan tablets from their possession. A senior Police official told GNS that two militants were killed in a exchange of firing in Wathoora. However there identification is yet to be ascertained, the officer said. As per the sources two LeT militants including its commander was killed. Reportedly one among the slain militant is believed to be Hilal Ahmad Alias Abu Maaz resident of Yaripora Kulgam. Reports reaching GNS said that a joint team of army and police launched cordon and search operation in Wathoora area after having specific input about presence of militants in the area. As the joint team of forces approached towards suspected spot the hiding militants fired upon goverment forces triggering an encounter brief exchange of firing. Two to Three militants are believed to be trapped. A senior Police official told GNS that some exchange of firing has taken place in Wathoora. Right now no fresh exchange of firing is taking place, but we have tightened the cordon so that militants don’t escape, the officer said.(GNS)
*FLASH* One-way traffic restored on Kashmir highway after seven days Stranded light-motor vehicles (LMVs) and fuel tankers were allowed to move towards Kashmir valley on Tuesday after the debris of landslides was cleared from the strategic road. “Over one hundred stranded fuel tankers and light passenger vehicles were allowed after seven days from Ramban to Kashmir,” said DSPT NHW Ramban Suresh Sharma.An official said the road was made motorable for one-way traffic at the affected places. He said the traffic was allowed to move despite shooting stones sliding down the mountains at Maroog and Pantiyal. The road, only surface link between Kashmir and the Indian plains, remained closed during past seven days due to snowfall and landslides. The closure of the road has created a shortage of essentials in Kashmir valley.

*Encounter breaks out in Kulgam village, Internet suspensed* Nadeem Nadu Srinagar, February 10:(GNS) Fierce Gunfight broke out between militants and goverment forces in Keelam area of South Kashmir's Kulgam  district on Sunday morning. Jawahar Tunnel Avalanche Update : One more body recovered: Death toll reaches 8 : Sachnews Jammu Kashmir Najeem Shamsi : Qazigund, February 09 : Dead body of SGCT Parvaiz Ahmad resident of Ganderbal was recovered by the rescue teams from the Avalanche site near Jawar Tunnel today morning taking the death toll to 8. 11 persons were missing when Police Post near Jawar Tunnel came under a snow avalanche on Thursday evening . The rescue operation was started Friday morning under the supervisionof Deputy Commissioner Anantnag and three persons were rescued from the avalanche yesterday.  The rescued persons were identified as Mohammad Khalil resident of Imoh, Verinag, Gulam Nabi resident of Kulgam and Selection grade Constable Mohammad Maqbool . Afzal Guru, who was hailing from Doabgah Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, was hanged on 9 February 2013 after he was convicted for his role in the 2001 Parliament attack. His body was buried secretly within the premises of Delhi’s Tihar Jail and the mortal remains were never returned to his family. Another dead body recovered : Rescue operation on near Jawahar Tunnel  : Sachnews Jammu Kashmir Qazigund , February 08 : Another dead body has been recovered from avalanche hit area near Jawar tunnel just now. The hospital sources told Sachnews that the  deceased has been identified as Muzaffar Ahmad Dar resident of Munward , Anantnag. Earlier today , the dead body of Police man Arshad Ahmad resident of Tuli Nowpora was recovered from the avalanche. Pertinently ten people were missing after an avalanche hit a police post near the Jawahar Tunnel on Thursday evening. Two persons were rescued by the rescue teams today morning.

✅ *Class 11 students slam delay in result declaration*  ```Students of class 11 Thursday accused authorities of the Board of School Education of inordinately delaying declaration of the results of their annual examination held in October last year. “As per norms, the BOSE was supposed to declare the results within 40 days after the culmination of exams but more than two months have passed and our results are still awaited,” said Ishfaq, a class 11 student from Baramulla. The students have apprehensions of “mass errors” in evaluation which, they said, could be a reason for delay in result declaration. An official dealing with evaluation of answer scripts attributed the delay to dearth of evaluators. He said evaluation of English subject was incomplete due to shortage of evaluators. Shah Faesal is a chocolate boy, whimsical person: Qayoom Wani : Says Edu Dept got freedom the day we shunted him out : SRINAGAR, February 02: Hitting back at Shah Faesal, Former Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Forum (JKTF) president Abdul Qayoom Wani said that the education department got freedom the day they shunted Faesal out of the department. Reacting sharply to Faesal’s comments, Wani told KNS that Shah Faesal is a chocolate boy and a childish person. “He can talk anything rubbish. I have been telling again and again that he is a whimsical person,” he said. Faesal had earlier said that Qayoom Wani’s exit from the department is a freedom for education department.
